‘West Ham welcome Graham Potter, 100%’ – fans react to Sky update

West Ham United fans have blasted the club for the “embarrassing” manner in which Julen Lopetegui has been treated ahead of his expected departure.

Sky Sports revealed that the club cancelled his scheduled press conference for this afternoon as widespread speculation continues about his future, but the 58-year-old did arrive at the training ground this morning and is set to take training.

Football Insider revealed that West Ham are working on new manager plans as Lopetegui is expected to be sacked after the pressure he has been under in recent weeks.

Lopetegui has struggled to adapt since taking charge of the football club during the summer, and the Hammers currently sit 14th in the Premier League table after 20 games.

Football Insider revealed that the Premier League side are advancing on Graham Potter following overnight talks with the former Chelsea boss.

Lopetegui is not expected to take charge of West Ham for their next Premier League fixture, which takes place next Tuesday (14 January) against Fulham.
