Wilfried Gnonto: Leeds exit set to be sealed by Largie Ramazani return as offers will be considered
Wilfried Gnonto is surely now entering his final months as a Leeds United player as Largie Ramazani is set to become part of the squad next season.
The Belgian is currently impressing out on loan with Valencia, and reports in Spain have now suggested that Daniel Farke is intending for him to become an “important” part of the Whites’ team next season.
The 25-year-old has come to the fore for his loan club with five goals and an assist since the middle of January, and his form over in La Liga looks set to have a drastic effect on the long-term plans back at Elland Road.
Gnonto has been heavily linked with a move away from the West Yorkshire outfit in recent windows, and with another winger set to come back into the fold, it would surely force him even further towards the exit.
Leeds’ transfer plans are set to see them try to consolidate their place in the Premier League again next season, and as a result, upgrades are set to be sought across the key areas of the squad.

VISIT THE LEEDS TRANSFER HUBLeeds ready to consider offers for Wilfried Gnonto
Football Insider revealed back in February that Leeds will consider selling Gnonto this summer if a “big offer” for him is put on the table, as he does not fit into the club’s newfound 3-5-2 formation.
The Italian has been heavily linked with a move to Saudi Arabia in several of the recent transfer windows, but Jack Harrison’s move to Fiorentina put paid to any chance of him leaving back in January.
| Gnonto | Stats | Ramazani |
| 16 (4) | Apps (Starts) | 18 (6) |
| 1 | G/A | 6 |
| 1.42 | Chances Created per 90 | 1.68 |
| 0.24 | Successful Dribbles per 90 | 1.81 |
| 1.89 | Shots per 90 | 3.76 |
| 5.68 | Duels Won per 90 | 4.14 |
However, with Ramazani now set to come back in the summer and become a key part of Farke’s plans, according to Spanish outlet Marca, there is surely little need for Gnonto to be kept around.
He has managed just four starts upon the Whites’ return to the Premier League this season, and there is little indication of that changing next term as they bid to improve their group again.
Ramazani has had a far greater impact for his loan club, and it is clear that the team behind the scenes at Elland Road are impressed with the development that he has made in Spain.
Valencia have no option to buy him as part of their initial loan agreement, and that is set to play perfectly into Leeds’ hands, as it has allowed them to make a U-turn on his future, and include him in their plans for 2026-27.
Cut-price Gnonto sale surely in Whites’ interests
Football Insider’s previous understanding that it would take a sizeable offer for Gnonto this summer could now be set to change.
The 22-year-old is set to enter the final two years of his current contract at the end of the campaign, and the last thing that Leeds will want is to end up struggling to find a suitor for him, and potentially risking losing him for free later down the line.
With that in mind, it is surely in their interest to reduce their valuation of him a little in order to get him out of the door this summer, especially now they have identified a replacement who is already on their books.
Gnonto has not developed the way that many would have expected after some promising campaigns in the Championship in recent years, and there have been few signs of him being up to Premier League level this term.
