Wilfried Gnonto update as six Leeds United stars set to go – sources
Leeds United star Wilfried Gnonto is attracting a lot of interest after his side failed to secure promotion back to the Premier League, sources have told Football Insider.
The Whites are susceptible to offers for the likes of Gnonto, Crysencio Summerville, Pascal Struijk, Illan Meslier, Archie Gray and Georginio Rutter ahead of the transfer window reopening next month.
Football Insider revealed on 26 May that Leeds must recoup an astonishing £150million in player sales following their promotion failure due to the amount owed in unpaid transfer fees.
Sources say there has already been “big” interest from sides looking to lure Gnonto away from Elland Road after the Italian has long been linked with a move despite his contract running until 2027.
Football Insider revealed last month the West Yorkshire club are looking for between £20million and £30million to let the 20-year-old winger leave this summer.
Wilfried Gnonto could leave Leeds United after promotion blow
After struggling for minutes before the turn of the year, Gnonto scored eight goals in the second half of the season as he helped Leeds reach the Championship play-off final.
But the Italian was unable to prevent his side from suffering heartache at Wembley as they were beaten 1-0 by Southampton.
The Whites are likely to receive bids for the winger over the coming weeks after fending off interest from Premier League sides last summer.

It may be a different story this time around for Gnonto after Football Insider revealed earlier this month Leeds could be forced to sell some of their star players as £73.6million of their outstanding transfer fees are due to be paid by the end of June.
Daniel Farke is expected to remain in charge at Elland Road after Football Insider revealed on 28 May the 49ers-led board are fully behind the German and want him to lead the club to promotion again next season.
In other news, Leeds plan to accept £12million midfielder bid.
