Everton youngster Joe Williams has aired his delight on Twitter on Friday after agreeing a new contract with the club.

It was announced by the official Everton wesbite that the tough-tackling midfielder had agreed new terms at the club taking him up to 2020.

The youngster is highly regarded in the Everton youth ranks after being named the Under-21s player of the season for the 2015/16 season.

Fans will be delighted with the club’s current stance on youth and Williams himself shared on his personal Twitter account that he was now looking forward to the next few years after signing the new deal.

Williams is still waiting to make his senior Toffees debut with the closest he’s come a bench position in a Europa League clash against FC Krasnodar in 2014.
