Williams shares delight on Twitter after agreeing new Everton deal

Everton youngster Joe Williams has aired his delight on Twitter on Friday after agreeing a new contract with the club.
It was announced by the official Everton wesbite that the tough-tackling midfielder had agreed new terms at the club taking him up to 2020.
The youngster is highly regarded in the Everton youth ranks after being named the Under-21s player of the season for the 2015/16 season.
Fans will be delighted with the club’s current stance on youth and Williams himself shared on his personal Twitter account that he was now looking forward to the next few years after signing the new deal.

Williams is still waiting to make his senior Toffees debut with the closest he’s come a bench position in a Europa League clash against FC Krasnodar in 2014.

He has suffered two long-term injuries recently in both his knee and ankle, but he will certainly be buoyed by the chances currently being handed to the likes of Tom Davies, Mason Holgate and Ademola Lookman in the senior team.
David Unsworth seems to be doing a good job of helping players make the leap from the academy to the first team and fans will now be hoping Williams can follow.
