Wilson Odobert sends message to Tottenham fans after devastating blow
Tottenham winger Wilson Odobert has shared a promising update regarding his injury progress by giving a sign that he’s close to returning.
Spurs have dealt with an injury-plagued season so far, and Ange Postecoglou has been without the 20-year-old since October in yet another crushing blow.
Odobert joined the Premier League giants last summer from Burnley, but he has only been able to make five appearances for the club due to suffering two hamstring injuries.
The winger provided some positive news to kickstart 2025 for the club when he shared a photo of him wearing his football boots.
While a clear timeline for his return remains to be seen, the photo is evidence that he’s beginning to step up to begin outdoor training.

Wilson Odobert will give Tottenham another attacking option
Spurs have had an underwhelming first half of the season, with the club currently 11th in the table after winning only seven of their 19 fixtures thus far.
Postecoglou’s side have scored 28 goals, but Odobert will be able to provide his manager with an additional attacking option.
The France Under-23 international is still looking for his first goal contribution in a Tottenham shirt, but he did score in his final appearance for Burnley in the Championship during this campaign.

Spurs are back in action on Sunday (4 January) against Newcastle in an important Premier League fixture in the race for European football.
That will be quickly followed by the first leg of their EFL Cup semi-final against Liverpool on Wednesday (8 January), but it remains to be seen whether Odobert will be healthy enough to feature in either fixture.
In other news, Tottenham could be about to make a huge mistake over Jack Grealish signing.
