Wolves could now accept offers for star quartet – sources

Wolves could cash in on Pedro Neto, Max Kilman, Joao Gomes and Rayan Ait-Nouri as they look to boost their transfer kitty this summer, sources have told Football Insider.

Speaking on the latest edition of Football Insider’s Inside Track podcast, senior correspondent Pete O’Rourke revealed Gary O’Neil won’t have a lot of money to spend to strengthen his squad once the transfer window reopens.

Wolves were forced to sell a number of key players last summer to balance the books following their financial problems.

O’Rourke revealed it could be a similar story this year, with Neto, Kilman, Gomes and Ait-Nouri likely to receive the most attention from interested parties.

All of those players are in contract at Molineux until at least 2026, meaning the club could be in a strong position to demand substantial transfer fees for their services.

Wolves looking to sign free agents this summer

Football Insider revealed on 16 May that Wolves are in advanced talks to sign Southampton forward Che Adams this summer.

The 27-year-old will be available on a free once his contract at St Mary’s expires at the end of June.

O’Rourke revealed that is the type of signing Wanderers will be looking to make this summer, with free agents and loan deals expected to be the order of the day.

Wolves

That could potentially change if Molineux chiefs can strike a deal to sell one of their star players for big money this summer as they look to provide O’Neil with more funds to spend.

The club have already secured the signing of midfielder Tommy Doyle for £4.3million after deciding to turn his loan deal from Manchester City into a permanent transfer.

In other news, West Ham have been tipped to sign multiple Wolves stars.
