Wolves will definitely need to bolster their attacking options as they head into the Premier League and a perfect back-up striker will be Leeds United ace Pierre-Michel Lasogga, who will reportedly be up for sale in the summer.
German newspaper BILD claims on their website that Hamburg have put Lasogga, 25, up for sale and he will be on the move at the end of the season when his loan deal at Elland Road expires.
It is understood that Premier League and Championship clubs are keeping tabs on the German powerhouse, who is said to be earning £3million-a-year in his deal at the Bundesliga clubs.
Wolves should be one of those teams in the race to sign Lasogga because in a team where chances are created, he can be devastating in front of goal.
The 25-year-old has scored 10 goals in 28 appearances across all competitions this term, which does not seem that great on the surface.
However many Leeds fans will point out that the lack of creativity in the side is severely impeding Lasogga, so imagine that the centre-forward could do in a team with the likes of Ruben Neves and Barry Douglas supplying the goals.
Lasogga would also offer a very different option in front.
He is powerful, aggressive and can hold up the ball well for players like Diogo Jota to connect with in the final third.
There are plenty of hard-hitting defenders in the Premier League and someone like Lasogga will be perfect to stand up to them in a team that is mainly made up of players who are not so used to aggressive football.
In other Wolves and Leeds United news, fans have urged the club to hire this former Molineux manager in the summer.
