Wolves win race to sign forward from high-flying London club
Wolves have raced ahead of big English teams to sign a very exciting up-and-coming talent before the winter transfer window slams shut.
Rob Edwards’ side are battling against Premier League relegation, still seven points away from 19th place, joined by Burnley and West Ham in the bottom three spots.
Their chances of securing safety have dropped significantly in January, with Fer Lopez and Marshall Munetsi jumping ship at Wolves, and there could be more exits before the window slams shut.
Crystal Palace are trying to sign Jorgen Strand Larsen, with Jean-Philippe Mateta possibly heading for the exit doors, but this new arrival is something for concerned supporters to look forward to.
Morgan Gibbs-White is one of the most successful products of the Wolves academy, and the Old Gold might have another to rave about in a few seasons’ time after the latest news.

Wolves strike deal for Bromley gem
According to The Talent Hunter, via Instagram (30 January), 17-year-old Dapo Anunlopo has completed a move to Molineux from League Two high-flyers Bromley.
It is understood that the Old Gold have beaten several Category 1 academies to the youngster’s signature, but the forward is set to join Wolves’ talent factory, moving from Category 4 in the process.
Mateus Mane is shining for Wolves, and he has only recently earned a spot in Edwards’ first team. The 18-year-old already has two goals and one assist in 13 appearances.
Dapo Anunlopo to follow in the footsteps of Mateus Mane
Given how very little experience he’s had in League Two, Wolves are clearly relying on their scouts watching academy games in London, as well as listening to his coaches.
Mane is proof that youngsters have a clear pathway to the first team under the current manager, with the likes of Nathan Fraser, Pedro Lima, and Enso Gonzalez all being involved in the set-up.
He has taken the opportunity in his stride, quickly cementing his spot in the starting lineup and even playing the full 90 minutes against Man City as a second striker.
It goes to show what hard work and determination can lead to, and if Anunlopo is as talented as many believe he is, he should have no trouble working his way up the ranks at Molineux.
