'World class' - Tottenham fans react on Twitter to 25-year-old's display in win v Arsenal
By Matt Bullin
Tottenham fans heaped praise on Victor Wanyama on Twitter after their sides’ 2-0 win over Arsenal on Sunday afternoon.
Spurs came away with a 2-0 win in the final North London derby at the current White Hart Lane.
Dele Alli and Harry Kane netted in three mad second half minutes for Spurs, and the goals were enough to secure a huge three points for their side.
Alli’s goal came after 55 minutes as he prodded home after the ball broke to him in the area, while Kane’s goal came three minutes later, from the spot after he was fouled by Gabriel.
The result leaves Spurs four points behind league leaders Chelsea, who beat Everton 3-0 at Goodison Park earlier on Sunday.

Wanyama played a huge role in the victory as his tireless work ensured Arsenal’s flair players had no time on the ball.
The 25-year-old has only recently returned to fitness after a spell on the sidelines.
The Kenyan has now played 32 Premier League games for Tottenham this season, and has two goals to his name.
Spurs fans lauded Wanyama’s performance, posting messages of support on Twitter.
