'Worst Leeds player for years' - Fans tear 25-yr-old to shreds after performance in loss to Sheffield United

By Richard Parks

Leeds United fans took to Twitter to slaughter Gianni Alioski for his performance in the team’s 2-1 Championship defeat to Sheffield United on Friday night.

The summer signing, 25, was given the nod to start in a three-man attack but made little impact as United suffered a fifth loss in six matches in all competitions.

The Macedonia international played 70 minutes in the Elland Road clash before making way for Pablo Hernandez as he once again failed to complete a match.

Goals from Billy Sharp and David Brooks cancelled out Kalvin Phillips’ brilliant volley as United climbed to the top of the table.

Leeds fans were hugely critical of the display of Alioski, who has struggled to be effective after an encouraging initial month at the club.
