'Wouldn’t pay 30 quid' - Celtic fans left raging after reported bid for 29-year-old

Celtic fans have been raging on social media after it was reported that the club had a bid for Motherwell goalkeeper Trevor Carson rejected.
The Daily Record has reported that the Bhoys had offered £200,000 for the 29-year-old Steelmen shotstopper, a valuation which Motherwell feel is far too low, as the Hoops weigh up a second bid for the player.
The news of the bid hasn’t gone down well with some fans, with many claiming that he’s isn’t good enough and some hoping that the Hoops try to land Liverpool third choice goalkeeper Tony Ward.
Here are some of the best reactions from Twitter to the news of the Carson bid:

The Bhoys are needing a new goalkeeper as Craig Gordon has been ruled out for three months with a knee injury he suffered against Hibernian.
Dorus de Vries is set to be the Hoops number one for the foreseeable future, beginning with the league game against Hearts on Tuesday night.
The Bhoys will be without Leigh Griffiths who is out for a month with a calf injury as well as Gordon for the game against Hearts.
On the plus side, new loan signing Charly Musonda may well make his Hoops debut against the team from Edinburgh, who remain the only side to have defeated the Bhoys in the league this season.
