‘Wrexham make Ollie Palmer exit decision amid Kieffer Moore news’
Wrexham are set to reshuffle their forward line once again, amid their interest in Sheffield United striker Kieffer Moore.
While the Red Dragons look to ready their squad for the Championship, after winning promotion from League One last term, the North Wales side have signed Ryan Hardie from Plymouth Argyle.
Following Hardie’s arrival, fellow striker Paul Mullin left to join Wigan Athletic on loan, having excelled for the Racecourse Ground side in both League Two and the National League.
Meanwhile, Wrexham are set to sign Josh Windass, after the attacking midfielder left financially troubled Sheffield Wednesday on a free transfer.

Wrexham set to sell Palmer amid Moore interest
Even though both Sam Dalby and Mullin have left Wrexham this summer, Phil Parkinson still has several strikers at his disposal, including former Burnley hotshot Jay Rodriguez and Sam Smith.
But Parkinson remains eager to add more tried and tested Championship quality to his ranks, following his side’s three successive promotions.
According to the Sheffield Star, the Red Dragons are interested in Sheffield United striker Moore, who scored five goals in 27 second-tier appearances last term.
Thanks to the high number of forwards in Parkinson’s squad, Wrexham will have to part company with one of their current assets to facilitate their move for the Wales star.
Ollie Palmer is an obvious candidate for the exit door because he has never played in the Championship before.
Furthermore, Palmer did not play a major role when the Red Dragons won promotion from League One last term, scoring just three goals in 27 third-tier outings.
Moore is exactly what Parkinson needs
Even though Wrexham are one of the Championship’s new boys, they boast far loftier ambitions than the modest goal of achieving second-tier survival.

The relentless ambition of Red Dragons ownership duo Ryan Reynolds and Rob McElhenney has been epitomised by the fact that their side have clinched successive promotions from the National League to the Championship.
But Parkinson must add the sort of quality that Wrexham have not had among their ranks in modern times to ensure that his side can compete in the upper echelons of the second tier.
Moore’s previous Championship exploits prove that he can be the man to fire the Red Dragons into playoff or even automatic promotion contention.
Amid injury problems, the 32-year-old did not enjoy a prolific season with Sheffield United last term.
However, he was a part of the Ipswich Town side that won promotion to the Premier League under Kieran McKenna, notching seven goals in 18 appearances.
