Yet another Rangers chief ‘jumping ship’ after source’s update – ‘it’s happening’ says pundit
Frank McAvennie has claimed Rangers fans “should be concerned” about the situation at the club.
Speaking exclusively to Football Insider, the former Celtic striker said board members are “jumping ship” and insisted the Gers should have “learned” their lesson.
On Wednesday (3 May), sources told this site that Rangers director and head of finance and football administration Andrews Dickson is leaving as the club continue a massive overhaul of their senior staff.
Sporting director Ross Wilson and academy chief Craig Mulholland have both departed Ibrox with managing director Stewart Robertson leaving his post at the end of the season.
Fans have had to watch key figures depart ahead of what is set to be a massive summer of transfer activity.
But on Saturday (6 May), Football Insider revealed that manager Michael Beale has told the club he doesn’t want them to appoint a new sporting director to replace Wilson
Beale has made it clear he wants to use his own recruitment team to bring in players in the upcoming window.
“Everyone is jumping ship,” he told Football Insider.
“Every week somebody else is leaving. It looks as if people are thinking ‘I’m not getting landed with this’.
“They have fought with everybody this year right from the start, they got angry at everyone.
“If I was a fan I would be concerned. Everyone is jumping ship because they do not want to be caught with what is happening.
“There are things that are happening that shouldn’t be happening at a club that has come back, they should have learned from the first time.”
