Kenan Yildiz ‘knows Liverpool and Arsenal want him’, likely club now emerges
Kenan Yildiz is aware that he is the subject of interest from the likes of Liverpool and Arsenal after being placed on a shortlist of targets by Man United, journalist Florian Plettenberg has reported.
The Juventus attacker has seemingly emerged as a target for the Red Devils, as they look to boost the firepower available to the recently appointed Ruben Amorim.
However, it looks as though the Old Trafford club will face competition for his signature, with Liverpool, Arsenal and French champions PSG interested and known to the 19-year-old.
Despite all that, he may not be on the move anytime soon, with Sky Germany’s Plettenberg reporting that Yildiz is currently likely to stay at Juventus for the 2025/26 season at least.
There are still four-and-a-half years remaining on the attacker’s current contract, securing his future with the Italian giants until the end of the 2028/29 season.
Liverpool and Arsenal revelations are a blow for Man United
Football Insider Opinion
These latest updates on the situation surrounding Yildiz, including interest from elsewhere, do feel like something of a blow for the Red Devils.
It is clear that they want some attacking reinforcements for Amorim, given some of their lacklustre performances in front of goal recently.
However, it seems Man United will not be able to benefit from him anytime soon, judging by the suggestion that he will be staying where he is for next season at least.
Beyond that, there is plenty of fierce competition for his services as well, given that interest from the likes of Liverpool, Arsenal and PSG.

Arne Slot’s side might have a massive Mohamed Salah-shaped hole to fill if they don’t resolve his contract situation, so they could too be disappointed if Yildiz stays in Turin.
Given those clubs currently look to be in a better position to challenge for silverware, they may be more appealing destinations for Yildiz when he does decide to move on.
As a result, the likes of Liverpool and Arsenal may well be keen to get one over on Man United and each other here, which could eventually spark quite a battle for the services of the attacker.
The fact they are being linked with similar left-wingers other than Yildiz as well, could make interesting to see who comes out on top in which transfer battle too.
In other news, Mo Salah’s contract situation could soon move a step closer to being resolved.
