Yoana Wissa sends ‘iconic’ message to Brentford teammate Mbeumo amid transfer talk
Yoane Wissa has taken to social media to reflect on his hugely successful partnership with fellow Brentford attacker Bryan Mbeumo.
Both players have enjoyed excellent individual campaigns for Thomas Frank‘s side this season, with their team currently sat ninth in the Premier League table with one game to go.
As a result, the duo have been subjected to speculation around a move elsewhere this summer, with Football Insider recently reporting that Newcastle, Arsenal and Man United are all keen on Mbeumo.
Meanwhile, Nottingham Forest are understood to be in a strong position to sign Wissa in the summer transfer window.

Yoane Wissa hails Bryan Mbeumo link-up
As things stand, those clubs linked with the pair could all potentially offer the duo European football for next season.
By contrast, given Brentford are three points behind eighth placed Brighton with just one game still to be played, it will be difficult for their current side to secure continental football next season.
Even so, Wissa still appears to be in a positive mood when it comes to reflecting on the efforts the attacking pair have produced for their team this season.
Taking to his Instagram story, the striker shared a picture of himself and Mbeumo celebrating a Brentford goal, tagging his fellow attacker along with the caption: “Iconic. Best mid table duo”.
The Bees’ final game of the season sees them travel to Wolves on Sunday (25 May), while Brighton are away at Europa League finalists Tottenham at the same time.

Brentford will fear double exit
Football Insider Verdict
It will be a major blow for the Bees if Wissa and Mbeumo are to leave the club in the summer transfer window, given how much they have contributed both this season and in the past.
Even so, these sort of comments about being at mid-table level are going to be a concern for Brentford when it comes to their futures.
With both players performing so well, they will arguably feel they can play at a higher level than that, and it seems other clubs are willing to offer them such an opportunity.

Such an eventuality will make it hard for Frank’s side to keep them, which would leave the club needing to replace some serious firepower.
But given Brentford have coped well in filling the void left by Ivan Toney with the likes of Wissa and Mbeumo, they may back themselves to do so again with other new recruits.
