‘You’re a disgrace’, ‘Embarrassing’ – Man City fans tear into Kyle Walker after Crystal Palace draw
Man City fans on social media did not hold back against Kyle Walker after their side drew 2-2 with Crystal Palace on Saturday afternoon.
The reigning champions took just one point away from the Etihad Stadium after Michael Olise’s late penalty rescued a draw for the Eagles.
City have now won just once in their last five league games and find themselves three points adrift from Liverpool at the top of the league who boast a game in hand.
Pep Guardiola’s side entered the final 15 minutes of the match with a 2-0 lead thanks to goals from Jack Grealish and Rico Lewis, but Jean-Philippe Mateta halved the deficit and Olise converted from the spot to ensure the points were shared.
Walker started the game at right-back and captained City in Kevin De Bruyne’s absence, but the England international struggled to impact the game.
The 33-year-old has made 23 appearances for City across all competitions for City in 2023/24 – including every possible minute of their Premier League campaign.
City fans took to X, formerly known as Twitter, to vent their frustration at Walker’s poor performance.

Despite being known for his impressive pace, fans were frustrated at Walker’s lack of effort when it came to tracking back for Palace’s first goal.
Walker came close to signing for Bayern Munich this summer before eventually staying put in Manchester, but this fan believes it may have been a huge error.
Others called for Walker to be sold in January, comparing him to the out-of-favour Kalvin Phillips.
