Youri Tielemans: Arsenal could complete ‘perfect’ signing after manager’s admission – Campbell
Leicester City’s Youri Tielemans would be a “perfect” addition to Mikel Arteta’s Arsenal midfield, according to Kevin Campbell.
The former Gunners striker, speaking exclusively to Football Insider, claimed the 24-year-old would be a “real upgrade” on the north London side’s current options.
Speaking to Sky Sports (13 February), Leicester boss Brendan Rodgers said the Foxes must “be ready” for Tielemans to depart.

The former Celtic boss conceded the Belgium international could leave in the summer unless he commits his future to the FA Cup holders.
Tielemans’ Leicester deal expires in June 2023.
Campbell suggested the former Monaco man would bring a much-needed goalscoring threat to the Gunners’ midfield.
“He’d be perfect in that Arsenal midfield,” he told Football Insider‘s Ewan Kingsbury.
“He’s a really good player, he knows the Premier League, he’s a winner.
“Not only is he a good midfield player, but he can also score goals as well – and that is something that is really lacking in Arsenal’s midfield.
“I just believe he would be a real upgrade on what we’ve got at the moment.
“It’d be a really good bit of business to get him in, but I’m sure that there’ll be a lot of other teams interested – and teams in the Premier League at that.
“This could be one where we’ll have to watch this space, but it’d be a good signing – no doubt about it.”

Tielemans has netted seven goals in 29 appearances for Leicester this term.
The 47-cap Belgium star joined Leicester in 2019 for a reported £40million.
