‘You’ve produced a star’ – Celtic fans thrilled by Mitchel Frame

Celtic fans have raved over 17-year-old Mitchel Frame’s senior debut in their Champions League victory over Feyenoord on Wednesday (13 December).

The Hoops secured their first home victory for 10 years in the competition with a 2-1 win over the Dutch side courtesy of a penalty strike from Luis Palma and Gustaf Lagerbielke’s late winner.

Frame was just seven years old the last time the Hoops took three points in a Champions League game at Parkhead, but Brendan Rodgers made the boy’s dreams come true by handing him his first appearance with 15 minutes to play.

He looked fearless on the ball and even won the corner that led to Lagerbielke’s headed winner.

The left-back has been a mainstay for the Hoops’ B team this season and even made the bench in Celtic’s last Champions League clash against Lazio.

Fans were full of praise for the teenager’s first outing and have taken to social media to wax lyrical about the “brave” new Hoop.

One fan simply dubbed his debut as “outstanding”.

One claimed he was the reason that Celtic secured their long-overdue win at Parkhead.

This supporter was blown away by Frame’s fearlessness.

Another fan was awestruck by what he produced on the night.

One fan was surprised to see how well he adapted to the senior side.

This fan couldn’t help but be “proud” of Frame.

Some supporters were very eager to see the youngster rewarded with more senior minutes and feel they have a real prospect in the ranks.

In other news, Celtic expert ‘absolutely convinced’ Brendan Rodgers will make ‘big’ January signings.
