'Careless' - Liverpool fans slate attacker for his performance against Watford
By Amir Mir
Roberto Firmino played the full match as Liverpool beat Watford 1-0 on Monday evening at Vicarage Road – and fans on Twitter were not impressed with his performance.
Emre Can scored the only goal of the game as his brilliant overhead kick in the first half ensured his side picked up a valuable three points.
The win helps Jurgen Klopp’s side maintain their hopes of finishing in the top four and securing a Champions League spot at the end of the season.
However, the Anfield faithful slated Firmino’s performance and felt that the versatile attacker was careless during the match.
One fan was rating the players out of ten for their performance against the Hornets as he gave goalscorer Can eight.

By contrast, Firmino was given four out of ten for his display as he clearly wasn’t pleased with the manner in which he played away from home.
Another supporter believes the Brazil international was ineffective as a wide player during the game.
Here is a selection of their messages on Twitter:

I do like Firmino, but he is often careless with the ball in the final third when you just need to hold on to it. #lfc.

2) Firmino. Ineffective as WF. Best in his weird CF role but doesn't score enough. Could he play AMC w/ 2 CM? But who does Klopp drop? #LFC

Firmino is so ineffective once he's moved out wide. Get so much more out of him centrally #LFC

Over the course of the season, Firmino has played 39 matches in all competitions, scoring 12 goals added with his ten assists.
Furthermore, he has found the back of the net on 11 occasions in 33 league games as he will be looking to add to that tally during the last three matches of the season for his side.
The Reds will host Southampton for their next league match before playing West Ham at the London Stadium and then their final match of the campaign against relegation-threatened Middlesbrough.
