Chris Sutton takes huge dig at Motherwell after 5-1 defeat v Celtic
Chris Sutton has used social media to have another swipe at Motherwell.
The outspoken BT Sports pundit and former Celtic striker has been highly critical of the Steelmen and their complaints after Celtic were awarded a penalty at Fir Park on Wednesday night, accusing them of “clutching” at straws.
Following Celtic’s 5-1 victory over Motherwell at Fir Park this afternoon, Sutton used his Twitter account to poke fun at the Fir Park side. “Hopefully no excuses tonight from Motherwell??” he exclaimed.

Today’s game was the third of a trilogy between Celtic and Motherwell in the last six days.
The Hoops will be decidedly the happier side in the aftermath of the games, as they won two of them and drew the other one.
Today’s win was arguably the most comfortable of the victories, a Celtic side featuring some squad players cruised to a 5-1 victory over the Steelmen.
