22-year-old handed rare start in Pochettino 3-4-3: Best possible Tottenham XI to face Burnley
By Matt Farr
Mauricio Pochettino should hand Vincent Janssen a rare start if passed fit ahead of Tottenham’s Premier League meeting with Burnley on Saturday.
Pochettino should make no further changes to his side for the clash, which will see as many as ten players retaining their places in the starting eleven following the win over Southampton last time out.
Janssen made only a brief cameo display during the 2-1 Southampton victory, but showed superb determination for his side, and should be rewarded with a starting place after Son put in a disappointing performance last time out.
It could well be Janssen’s last shot at making an impression at White Hart lane after a very disappointing season.

Janssen has struggled to find his feet in the Premier League since his £17million move to White Hart Lane in the summer, scoring just one goal from 20 appearances.
But going head-to-head with a troubled Burnley defence presents the Dutchman with a prime opportunity to rediscover his confidence in front of goal, particularly in the absence of the injured Harry Kane.
Son, meanwhile, has enjoyed much more success with 14 goals from 36 appearances in all competitions, but he offers less than Janssen when playing as a centre-forward, regardless of form.
Hugo Lloris, Eric Dier, Toby Alderweireld, Jan Vertonghen, Victor Wanyama, Ben Davies, Mousa Dembele, Kyle Walker, Christian Eriksen and Dele Alli should also be named in the Tottenham starting eleven, despite the recent involvements during the international break.
A win for Tottenham could send them five points clear of third-placed Manchester City, and extend their grip on a potential top four finish.
In other Tottenham team news, this 22-year-old is set to be axed this summer as Pochettino loses patience (not Janssen).
