Celtic must steal in and snatch Birmingham’s Che Adams from Fulham’s clutches this summer after the London club had a bid of £5million reportedly rejected.
The Daily Mail claims the 21-year-old attacker is now in contract talks with Harry Redknapp’s Blues, with the Midlands outfit desperate to keep him on side.
It is said that Fulham are keen to sign Adams, with Cottagers attacker Sone Aluko interesting another Championship rival in Jaap Stam’s Fulham.
Celtic have completed three summer signings with one of those already coming from the Championship in Ipswich Town youngster Kendai Benyu.
They have also completed the signings of former Aberdeen attacker Jonny Hayes and Manchester City youngster Oliver Ntcham, and should continue to add to their squad with Adams.
Football Insider reckons Celtic could increase the 39-point deficit above Rangers with the signing of Adams, unearthing a gem of English football and going one better in the Champions League.
