'Wonderful', 'Brilliant' - Rodgers blown away by Celtic player after win v Hamilton
Celtic boss Brendan Rodgers was full of admiration for Hoops midfielder Olivier Ntcham’s performance against Hamilton on Wednesday.
The £4.5million summer signing from Manchester City turned in a barnstorming performance in dreadful conditions at Celtic Park, scoring the first goal in the Bhoys’ 3-1 win.
Rodgers was naturally thrilled that his biggest signing of the summer has started to regularly turn in good performances after what seemed like an indifferent few weeks, when he lost his place in the side.
“I think Olivier’s developing very, very well, as I would expect”, he began, as quoted by the Scottish Sun.
“He’s a highly gifted player, the first goal is wonderful technique…it’s a brilliant finish.
“He’s got really good technique, good pace, good awareness and it’s just about him getting used to the number of games.”

The goal against Hamilton was Ntcham’s fifth of the season, which is a decent return for a central midfielder so far this season.
He has found his best form playing alongside Hoops captain Scott Brown in the centre of midfield, and may be earmarked as the long-term replacement for the 32-year-old.
Celtic are still five points clear at the top of the Scottish Premiership table following the midweek round of games.
The Hoops still have a game in hand on nearest challengers Rangers and Aberdeen, which will be played on the 20th of December against Partick Thistle.
Before that, they travel to Tynecastle to take on Hearts in what is sure to be a feisty occasion as games between the sides often are.
