'Absolutely delighted' - Celtic fans rave as struggling star linked with summer exit

Celtic fans on Twitter seem pleased with rumours linking struggling attacker Scott Sinclair with a move back to the Premier League.

The Daily Mail are reporting that both Brighton and Bournemouth are interested in making a move for the 29-year-old at the end of the season.

Sinclair has been a mainstay of the Hoops side this season with 45 appearances, but he has lost his starting place in the first-time due to a series of indifferent performances.

Despite his poor form, Sinclair is still the Hoops top scorer with 17 goals this season, which perhaps says more about the performances of the Hoops overall this season than anything about Sinclair.

Here are some of the best reactions from Twitter to the Sinclair rumours:

Sinclair was a stand-out for the Hoops in his first season with the club, scoring 25 goals and deservedly being named Scotland’s Player of the Year.

This season has been a completely different story though, as after a good start to the season Sinclair’s form has regressed badly.

He was recently left-out of the starting line-up for both legs of the last 32 Europa League tie against Zenit and the recent Old Firm derby at Ibrox, a venue where he thrived for the Hoops last season.

If the Hoops are offered around £5million for the player it wouldn’t be that much of a surprise if they accepted the bid.
