Man United fans were shocked by the display of centre-back Victor Lindelof in the Premier League game against Crystal Palace on Monday night.
He was part of a centre-back pairing with Chris Smalling that looked anything but solid at Selhurst Park.
Man United started the night in third place in the league with Crystal Palace in the relegation spots but there was no gulf in quality between the two sides.
In fact Palace put in the best shift and went in at half-time a deserved goal to the good.
That goal was thanks to a massive deflection from Lindelof from an Andros Townsend shot, that wrong-footed David de Gea and flew into the net.
Man United fans are blaming Lindelof for the scoreline and the 23-year-old looked lost at the back, with the Sky Sports commentary team saying he had to switch on.
Man United fans were hoping he’d be switched off by Jose Mourinho at half time and dread the thought of him playing against Liverpool at the weekend.
