West Ham goalkeeper Adrian has claimed that his side are out for “revenge” when they face Tottenham next Friday night.
The Hammers welcome Mauricio Pochettino’s side to the London Stadium hoping for a first win in three.
Slaven Bilic’s side have drawn their last three Premier League games, including goalless draws with Stoke and Everton, while Spurs won their ninth match on the spin against Arsenal on Sunday.
Harry Kane and Dele Alli bagged for Tottenham as they earned a huge three points, and won the final North London derby to be played at White Hart Lane.
West Ham are currently in 15th place and they are unbeaten in four, despite winning just one of those games.
When the sides met earlier in the season Spurs won an exciting game 3-2 at White Hart Lane.
The Hammers had lead the match into the closing moments after goals from Michail Antonio and Manuel Lanzini had put them 2-1 up, only for Kane to strike twice in the final two minutes to snatch three points for his side.
Adrian missed out in that game as Darren Randolph was preferred, but he is still keen for his side to get revenge for the defeat.
“We can have revenge,” Adrian told the the Evening Standard.
“At Tottenham, we played very well but they had the luck to score at the end.
“That is past now. We are in the present, a different shape. We are a different West Ham.”
Spurs will be looking to close the gap on Chelsea to one point on Friday, while Bilic’s side could lift themselves six places into the top half with a win.
In other West Ham news, Bilic has made this bold claim about Tottenham.
