Agbonlahor claims Leeds have been 'found out' as he makes league place prediction
Leeds United need to “get their act together defensively” to improve on last season’s ninth place finish, according to Gabby Agbonlahor.
The former Aston Villa striker, speaking exclusively to Football Insider, claimed Marcelo Bielsa’s side are “naive” against the bigger side in the Premier League and must change their approach.
Leeds picked up their first point of the season on Saturday following a 2-2 draw with Everton at Elland Road.
It comes after a disappointing 5-1 opening day defeat to rivals Manchester United at Old Trafford.
Agbonlahor suggested the Whites will struggle to finish in the top half of the table if they continue with the same defensive approach.
“Leeds had a good season in their first season back in the Premier League but you want to improve year on year,” he told Football Insider‘s Connor Whitley. “You want to finish higher.

“But if they play like they did against Manchester United they will not finish higher.
“They need to get their act together defensively. It is not all about throwing players forward and getting touch-tight to every man. You have to be more clever when you are playing the top teams.
“They got found out at Old Trafford. When Man United players play Leeds at Old Trafford they must be buzzing. I bet every player cannot wait to play because they are going to be naive.
“They just go kamikaze and once again they got found out. There needs to be a change.”
