Agbonlahor: Gallagher tipped to 'definitely' sign for Leeds United after update
Gabby Agbonlahor has tipped Conor Gallagher to snub a move to Crystal Palace and sign for Leeds United.
Speaking exclusively to Football Insider, the ex-Aston Villa and England attacker claimed the midfielder would “suit” the Whites’ style of play.
Football.london reported on 23 July both Leeds and Palace are interested in taking the Chelsea star on a temporary deal for the upcoming season.
He spent last season on loan with West Brom and featured in 30 Premier League games but could not prevent them from being relegated.
Palace could be an attractive option for the 21-year-old as he could stay in London and ex-teammates Marc Guehi has recently signed for the club.
However, Leeds would offer the opportunity to play for a club pushing for a top-six finish.

The Yorkshire giants finished last season in ninth, just three points behind the European places.
They are in the market for midfield reinforcements afs their form suffered dramatically without Kalvin Phillips.
Leeds lost seven of the nine games the England star missed through suspension and injury.
Asked whether Gallagher would prefer a move to Elland Road over one to Palace, Agbonlahor told Football Insider correspondent Connor Whitley: “I think so.
“If I’m choosing one, it’s definitely Leeds.
“Gallagher looks like that sort of player, he’s no-nonsense, fit, active and high-energy. He’d suit Leeds, definitely.”
Gallagher is yet to feature for the Chelsea first-team in a competitive game.
As well as his time with West Brom, the England Under-21 ace has enjoyed loan spells in the Championship with Charlton Athletic and Swansea City.
