Agbonlahor tips Bailey for full Aston Villa debut after what he's 'heard'
Gabby Agbonlahor has tipped Leon Bailey to make his full Aston Villa debut against Everton on Saturday evening.
Speaking exclusively to Football Insider, Villa’s record Premier League goalscorer claimed he cannot wait to see Bailey unleash his blistering pace on English football.
The Jamaica international moved to Villa Park from Bayer Leverkusen over the summer but has been limited to two substitute appearances for his new club.
He provided an assist on his debut against Watford on the opening day and played the final 34 minutes in the defeat to Chelsea last weekend.
Bailey missed the two games in between with a hamstring injury but has now had a full week of uninterrupted training.
Dean Smith lined up with a 3-5-2 formation at Stamford Bridge with Matty Cash and Matt Targett operating as wing-backs.

However, as quoted by the club’s Twitter account today (September 16), Smith hinted that was just to negate Chelsea’s threat.
“I want to get Leon Bailey on the pitch, he looked very sharp,” Agbonlahor told Football Insider correspondent Connor Whitley.
“I’m hearing he’s the second-fastest player in the Premier League. I want to see that pace, I’ve not really seen it yet. Everyone’s talking about it.
“I hope he’s ready to go against Everton. It’s go time now.
“He’s come on in a couple of games and now it’s time to show what he can do.”
Bailey scored nine times and provided nine assists in 30 Bundesliga games for Bayer Leverkusen last term.
The 24-year-old ended his four-and-a-half-year spell with the German club with 39 goals and 26 assists in 156 appearances across all competitions.
