Agbonlahor: Tottenham set to complete 'one of the best bits of business in years' as source reveals new Dejan Kulusevski details

If Tottenham can complete the permanent signing of Dejan Kulusevski for £30million it will be “one of the best pieces of business in the last few years”, according to Gabby Agbonlahor.

Speaking exclusively to Football Insider, the ex-Aston Villa and England attacker insisted Juventus have “undervalued” Kulusevski as he is the difference maker for Spurs.

The 22-year-old moved to Tottenham on loan in January and the club have the option to make the deal permanent.

Sources told Football Insider on Sunday (20 November) that a permanent move is “99 per cent done” including contract terms and a £30million fee.

It has been widely reported that there is an obligation for the move to be made permanent if he plays 20 Premier League games this season and Tottenham finish in the top four.

It is understood that Spurs will push the move through even if those targets are not met.

“For Kuluesevski to sign for £30million on a permanent deal is one of the best pieces of business in the last few years,” Agbonlahor told Football Insider correspondent Connor Whitley.

“He’s a young, quality player and I feel Juventus have undervalued him.

“That’s a great deal for Spurs, they need to get that over the line and get him signed permanently because he is the difference in that Spurs side.

“When he’s not playing Harry Kane has less service and when he plays he gets into positions and makes things happen. He’s got a wand of a left foot.

“I’m sure Spurs will try and get that move done as soon as possible.”
