Alexander Isak marked a significant milestone after scoring in Newcastle’s thrilling 4-3 victory over Nottingham Forest in the Premier League.
Eddie Howe’s side mounted a comeback at home after Callum Hudson-Odoi’s sixth-minute opener was cancelled out by goals from Lewis Miley, Jacob Murphy, and a brace from Isak.
The Swedish striker scored two quick goals in the first half, bringing his season total to 19 goals in the Premier League.
Recent weeks have seen Liverpool linked with a potential move for Isak, but Football Insider revealed that Liverpool are unlikely to match Newcastle’s asking price for their star forward.
Despite the transfer speculation, Isak celebrated his achievement with the team, sharing his excitement and gratitude on social media.

Newcastle need Alexander Isak ready for Carabao Cup final
With the Carabao Cup final against Liverpool approaching, there have been calls from former Tottenham manager Tim Sherwood for Newcastle to consider dropping Isak.
Keeping players fit is understandable, especially since Callum Wilson has recently returned from injury. However, Newcastle fans have grown frustrated with Wilson and his recurring injury issues.
Isak has also dealt with his share of injuries this season, including a broken toe in September that kept him sidelined for seven games. He missed 12 matches last season and 18 the season before that.
As the league cup final looms on 16 March at Wembley, Howe will be hoping Isak can guide the team to their first domestic trophy since 1955.
