Alex Moreno undergoing Nottingham Forest medical after offer accepted – sources
Alex Moreno is undergoing a Nottingham Forest medical on Wednesday after agreeing a loan move, sources have told Football Insider.
Forest have had an offer of a season-long loan with an obligation to buy for the 31-year-old accepted by Aston Villa.
Football Insider revealed (August 18) that Forest were battling it out with Spanish clubs Villarreal, Sevilla, and Valencia for the signing of Moreno going into the final fortnight of the window.
Moreno has been deemed surplus to requirements by Unai Emery and his staff after the £37.5 million signing of Ian Maatsen, 22, from Chelsea earlier in the transfer window.
