Alfonso Pedraza posts Twitter verdict as Leeds fail to beat QPR
By Will Butcher
Alfonso Pedraza has vowed to fight until the bitter end to help Leeds secure a place in the play-offs after their 0-0 draw against QPR.
Pedraza, 20, started the match at Elland Road on Saturday afternoon but was unable to help the Yorkshire giants earn all three points despite the support of the home crowd.
The Spaniard claimed Leeds would “keep on fighting” on his personal Twitter account before thanking fans for their support after more than 30,000 spectators piled into Elland Road.

Pedraza started on the left flank against Ian Holloway’s QPR, and was unlucky not to find the back of the net after sending a stinging shot wide of Alex Smithies’ goal in the first half.
Leeds’ number 20 has started the former Champions League side’s last two outings after scoring his first goal for the Whites during the 3-1 win against Birmingham.

The fleet-footed winger joined Monk’s side on deadline day in January from La Liga side Villarreal in a loan-to-buy deal that could see him sign permanently if Leeds gain promotion.
Now with five appearances under his belt in Yorkshire, Pedraza is expected to keep his place against promotion rivals Brighton on Saturday.
A win for Pedraza and the rest of his side would consolidate their play-off place, and move within two points of third-placed Huddersfield if they lose to Bristol City on Friday.
