Alfonso Pedraza sends message to Leeds fans ahead of season finale
By Amir Mir
Alfonso Pedraza has stated on Twitter that he is “looking forward” to Leeds’ last game of the season against Wigan on Sunday afternoon.
The 21-year-old could possibly take to the field for the final time, with his loan deal at Elland Road set to expire in the summer.
Playmaker Pedraza moved to Leeds from La Liga outfit Villareal during the January transfer window.
At first, he struggled to get into the starting XI, but he gradually earned some more game time under manager Garry Monk as his team missed out on a play-off spot.
They will travel to already relegated Wigan on Sunday hoping to end the season on a high as the 2016/17 Championship campaign comes to its conclusion.

During his time at the club, Pedraza has scored only one goal from his 13 Championship games added with the fact that he has failed to provide an assist.
He has not started a match since Monk’s side were beaten 1-0 at home to Paul Lambert’s Wolves in April.
Two substitutes appearances have since followed and with the club’s promotion hopes out of the window, he will be hoping to make a start against the Latics.
Technically, there is still the chance that Leeds could clinch sixth place, but they will need to beat Wigan and hope Fulham lose their last fixture added with the fact that it would need to be done by a 13-goal swing.
In other Leeds news, Andy Ritchie has urged the club to sign this Premier League ace.
