Alfredo Morelos: Major update on Rangers star’s future as ‘agreement’ reached – sources
Rangers striker Alfredo Morelos has no agreement with Galatasaray despite multiple reports from Turkey of a deal, sources have told Football Insider.
The Turkish club do have an interest in the Ibrox front man, who is out of contract in summer and has been free to speak with overseas clubs since January.
However, there have been no concrete talks or negotiations with the Turkish club and the player, and a potential deal is a long way off.
Rangers are still to offer a new deal to the club’s all-time European top scorer and suitors round Europe are beginning to circle.
Clubs in France, Holland, Spain and Turkey all hold an interest and the chances of him moving on from Glasgow are increasing.
Sources with knowledge of Morelos’ situation believe that his time has come to go and Rangers are actively seeking new strikers to close the gap on Celtic.
Morelos would be happy to stay in Govan and has a lot of love a respect for the club and its fanbase but time is now running out to secure an agreement.
Manager Michael Beale has used Morelos as his first choice striker since taking the reins but is not convinced that the 26-year-old is the man he trusts for next season.

The Englishman recently stated that the striker still had a lot to prove if he was to be rewarded with a new deal at Ibrox.
Morelos has found the back of the net nine times this season and grabbed six assists.
