Alfredo Morelos: Rangers tipped to accept £16m offer after source’s reveal – expert
Alex McLeish has suggested Rangers should get more than £13million for Alfredo Morelos if he is to be sold this summer.
The former Gers boss, speaking exclusively to Football Insider, cited the £16million deal Everton agreed to sign Nathan Patterson in assessing the 25-year-old’s value.
An Ibrox source told Football Insider last week (7 April) that Rangers are braced for offers for Morelos this summer, with one offer already in the pipeline.

The Glasgow giants are set to hold out for a £13million-plus fee despite the fact the striker will be into the final 12 months of his contract.
McLeish admitted that could weaken the Gers’ bargaining power.
However, he suggested the Light Blues should still be able to demand more for the Colombian hitman.
Asked if Morelos’ contract situation has forced Rangers to consider a lower offer, McLeish told Football Insider’s Russell Edge: “Yeah, there’s that. Also, possibly the statistic where he’s not first choice for his country.
“Those have got to be factored into anybody making a bid for him. Maybe there can be add-ons. It sounds a decent fee.
“Possibly they should get a wee bit more, I would say, when you consider some of the other deals going around.
“Look at Patterson going to Everton, but I know his is based on achievement as well.”

Morelos signed his current contract at Ibrox back in 2019.
The Colombian hitman is out of action for the season due to a muscle injury that required surgery.
