'All day long', 'Hands down' - Celtic fans predict who will win POTY out of Brown and Forrest

Celtic fans firmly believe that Hoops skipper Scott Brown will be named as Scotland’s next player of the year.

The 32-year-old was nominated for the gong, along with his team-mate James Forrest, Hibernian’s John McGinn and Kilmarnock’s Kris Boyd, announced a short time ago on the PFA Scotland Twitter account.

Hoops fans seem in no doubt that the Hoops captain will win the accolade, with one going as far as to name it ‘the Scott Brown award’.

Here are some of the best reactions from Twitter to news of Brown’s nomination:

Brown has been in excellent form for the Bhoys this season, playing over 50 games and dragging a Hoops side  which has been inconsistent at best to the verge of a second successive domestic treble.

As for the other Bhoys nomination, Forrest has had the best season his career, scoring 17 goals and arguably being the best player in Scotland in the first-half of the season.

However, aside from a Scottish Cup hat-trick against Partick Thistle his form has dipped dramatically which has lead to Brown becoming the favourite and looking likely to add to the previous award he won in 2009.

The winner will be announced on Sunday night, not long after the last Old Firm derby of the season, which could be a title party for the Bhoys.
