‘All hell will break loose’ – Nuno Espirito Santo sack verdict at Nottingham Forest
Nuno Espirito Santo’s future at Nottingham Forest will be determined soon and “all hell will break loose” if results take a downturn.
Football Insider revealed on 29 August Nuno and Evangelos Marinakis are set for crunch talks about the manager’s future as they aim to thrash out any issues between them.
It comes after Nuno admitted his relationship had changed with Forest’s owner in his pre-match press conference on 22 August before the draw against Crystal Palace.
Football Insider revealed on 31 August Forest are planning to appoint a big-name manager if they decide to sack the Portuguese boss.
Jose Mourinho and Ange Postecoglou have both been linked with the position if it becomes available at the City Ground.

Nottingham Forest chief likes to run intense operation
This article contains exclusive comment from Stefan Borson, a former financial adviser to Man City.
Nuno has been backed in the transfer market, with 13 new signings arriving through the door in recent weeks.
However, Forest were beaten 3-0 by West Ham in their latest Premier League fixture, raising more questions about Nuno’s immediate future.
Speaking exclusively to Football Insider, Borson said: “I think with him it’s going to depend on what happens on the pitch.
“They have spent a lot of money. They bought a lot of players, probably a lot of them led by Edu.
“If they’re winning on the pitch, it just papers over any issues because whether those players are Edu’s picks or Nuno’s picks is kind of irrelevant if they’re winning matches.
“I think if it starts to go wrong on the pitch, that’s when you’re going to see all the cracks laid bare because either what will happen is the manager will get the blame for it, or somehow they’ll try and pin it on the director of football and say that he signed the wrong players.
“But I do think that Marinakis likes to run a kind of high-tension situation, so I don’t think he’s particularly perturbed by that. And those guys, you can tell that they’re also pretty forceful characters, so I don’t think it’s a big shock.
“But it will ultimately totally depend on what happens on the pitch. If they win games, it’ll all be fine.
“If they’re losing matches, all hell will break loose.”

Nottingham Forest agree last-ditch Oleksandr Zinchenko deal
Forest managed to secure some last-ditch deals before the transfer window closed.
Oleksandr Zinchenko agreed a loan move to the City Ground from Arsenal, while John Victor, Cuiabano, Dilane Bakwa and Nicolo Savono joined on permanent deals.
Forest have spent around £200million on new signings following their spending spree this summer.
