Liverpool supporters have taken to social media to celebrate Mohamed Salah despite throwing away a one goal lead against Chelsea on Saturday.

The Egyptian international’s 15th goal of the season gave the Reds a second-half lead against Chelsea, however, a late William goal gave Chelsea the share of the points in a 1-1 draw at Anfield.

Salah did come close to scoring a late winner for Liverpool, but his effort was saved by Courtois.

Salah was once again Liverpool’s star man, and the fans were eager to reflect that, with one calling him “world class”.

Here are a few of the best reactions from Liverpool fans on Twitter:

Salah has been a revelation for Liverpool since signing from Roma in the summer.

He has been the player of the season so far at Anfield, with a goal-scoring rate approaching Luis Suarez’s.

Salah had a previous stint in England with Chelsea, but he struggled to hold down a first team place and left the club after playing only 19 times for the Stamford Bridge club.

He resurrected his career in Italy with Fiorentina and Roma before joining Jurgen Klopp’s side.

On a day when Klopp rested the likes of Mane and Firmino, it was shown how important he is to the Reds that he wasn’t dropped.

In other Liverpool news, Antonio Conte declared himself a big fan of Salah
