He came off the bench during the weekend fixture and could start against the Hammers on Wednesday night.

If selected, he could provide the home side with a much needed knowhow of winning difficult cup ties against attacking Premier League opposition.

Bastian Schweinsteiger

The German World Cup winner has failed to make a single appearance for United this season, but is expected to start for Jose Mourinho’s men on Wednesday.

The experienced midfielder will dictate the tempo in which the home side play at and depending on his performance, it could prove to be difference from Mourinho’s side winning or losing.

Daley Blind

Defender Blind, who was an unused substitute against Slaven Bilic’s side at the weekend, could now start in the cup fixture.
