Andre Green has expressed his delight at returning to training with Aston Villa as they take on Norwich in a Championship clash on Saturday afternoon.
Steve Bruce’s side take on the managerless club at Villa Park looking to continue their impressive run in the league.
They have won five out of their last six matches, including beating the likes of Sheffield Wednesday and Derby County on home soil.
Furthermore, Villa have not conceded a goal at home since losing 3-1 against Yorkshire outfit Barnsley in mid-February.
Versatile attacker Green, who has been injured and missed the past four matches, sent this message to fans ahead of the weekend game.
“Nice to be back training with the boys,” Green wrote on his personal Twitter account. “Looking forward to the game tomorrow.”

Prior to picking up a knock during the 2-0 home win against Bristol City in late February, Green was fast becoming a key figure in Bruce’s side.
The club’s academy product had started their last two matches and his performances in a Villa shirt were beginning to grow.
At the start of the campaign, under Roberto Di Matteo, Green was used sporadically by his manager but he has since become more of a regular option.
With Villa’s promotion chances looking very slim this term, Green will be looking to cement a regular starting place in Bruce’s side ahead of the next campaign.
Positive performances can see him become an instant starter for next season when Villa will be pushing for promotion to the Premier League.
