Ange Postecoglou mocked after Nottingham Forest collapse at Swansea
Ange Postecoglou has work to do to win over the Nottingham Forest supporters following back-to-back defeats to start his tenure at the club.
Postecoglou lost his first game in charge of Forest against Arsenal and it was expected that the former Spurs boss would win his second match against Championship club Swansea in the Carabao Cup.
Nottingham Forest’s summer arrival Igor Jesus netted a first half brace which looked to be enough for the Tricky Trees to progress.
Swansea though staged a stunning late second half comeback with two injury time goals to condemn Postecoglou to a horror start in charge.

Ange Postecoglou mocked after Nottingham Forest defeat vs Swansea
Fans were quick to take to social media to mock Postecoglou with one commenting: “Ange ball is officially in full swing.”
One posted: “Get used to that Forest, it’s big Ange mate.”
Another supporter posted: “Don’t worry lads second season Ange is incredible.”
Postecoglou won Spurs the Europa League in his second season at the club before being sacked in May.
One supporter was quick to call for Postecoglou to already be sacked just a week after taking charge.
Whilst others felt Postecoglou will not last long in the role with one calling him a “fraud of a manager.”
One believed Postecoglou was “willing to sacrifice the game.”
A supporter posted on X: “I think he was willing to sacrifice that game, had a pre season feel to it. Some positives from the new signings. Not sure about John, Boly poor, Yates poor, too many changes they probably didn’t know what to do. Poor finishing, poor set piece defending otherwise a great night.“
Worst possible start for Postecoglou
Following Nuno Espirito Santo’s sacking at Nottingham Forest, many fans were not too eager on the arrival of Postecoglou.
The Australian arrived at the City Ground with a stigma attached that his attacking football is suicidal and cannot produce results.
So far his Nottingham Forest side have conceded 6 goals in two games, and blown a lead they should have held onto against Championship opposition.
The only positive for Postecoglou will be Jesus netting his first two goals for the club, and minutes got into the legs of the likes of Arsenal loanee Oleksandr Zinchenko.
