Antonio Conte could ‘walk’ from Tottenham after latest talks update – Agbonlahor
Antonio Conte could decide to “walk” away from Tottenham if they have no realistic chance of making the top four, according to Gabby Agbonlahor.
Speaking exclusively to Football Insider, the ex-Aston Villa and England attacker delivered his verdict after Tottenham reopened negotiations with Conte over a new contract.
The 53-year-old is out of contract at the end of the season after he signed an 18-month deal when he took over in November 2021.

Sources told Football Insider earlier this year (8 October) that Spurs are offering him a new deal worth in excess of £400,000-a-week.
That equates to over £20million-a-year and would make him the best-paid manager in the Premier League.
The Athletic reported on Monday (12 December) that Tottenham are set for fresh talks with Conte this week over a new deal and plans for the January transfer window.
It is understood that the club would like an agreement in place before the transfer window opens on 1 January.
“There’s no rush for Conte,” Agbonlahor told Football Insider correspondent Connor Whitley.
“He’s the sort of manager who will probably look at where Spurs are during the last couple of months of the season and decide then.
“If they are struggling and not in the top four, he might just think ‘I’ll walk and do another job’.
“I don’t think he’ll rush into signing a new deal, to be honest. I think he’ll wait and see how this squad of players perform.”

Tottenham are currently fourth in the Premier League after the first part of the season.
They resume their campaign on Boxing Day when they travel to play Brentford.
In other news, Tottenham are plotting to sign a “phenomenal” star Mauricio Pochettino twice tried to sign.
