Archie Gray and Dom Solanke reply as Manor Solomon sends ‘finished’ Leeds message

Leeds United’s promotion was mission accomplished for Manor Solomon as the Tottenham loanee prepares to return to North London.

Daniel Farke’s side held up their side of the bargain and thumped Stoke City 6-0 on Monday as Solomon notched two assists, and promotion was confirmed as a result of Burnley’s 2-1 win over Sheffield United.

Attention at Elland Road will now turn towards the summer transfer window as they bid to stay up in next season’s Premier League, and Solomon’s future after his season-long loan will be under speculation.

Football Insider revealed on 11 April that Leeds see Solomon as one of six current players who is Premier League-ready, but the Israel international is set to return to Tottenham at the conclusion of his loan deal.

Manor Solomon sends six-word message, Tottenham stars react

Solomon has defied the expectations of Leeds fans in his spell at Elland Road, after many were doubtful the Tottenham loanee would made an impact due to his injury history upon his arrival in West Yorkshire.

The 25-year-old is one of several players to move between Spurs and Leeds in recent transfer windows, with Archie Gray moving to Tottenham for £40million last summer and Joe Rodon heading the other way.

Solomon’s form has been crucial to Leeds United’s promotion push

Solomon is by no means guaranteed to make his move to Leeds permanent this summer, and took to Instagram after promotion was confirmed (21 April) to suggest that he’d achieved what he came to do.

Both Gray and fellow 2023 arrival Dominic Solanke both liked Solomon’s post, which included the caption: “Mission complete – We Are Premier League.”

Tottenham braced for Manor Solomon transfer bids

Football Insider revealed earlier this month that Daniel Levy is planning a huge overhaul of players and coaches at Tottenham this summer, and that could spell the end of Solomon’s time in North London.

Leeds fans have made clear they want 49ers Enterprises to make the Tottenham loanee’s spell permanent this summer, and those calls will only intensify now their Premier League place is secure.

Other Premier League clubs are also sniffing around, and though former Spurs goalkeeper Paul Robinson told Football Insider that Leeds are in a good position to stave off a “hijack” from Everton, Levy will surely welcome a transfer battle to drive up his valuation.
