‘Arne Slot to sell senior Liverpool ace’ – Fans react to Andy Robertson comments
Liverpool fans have identified one player they expect to be sold in the summer transfer window following recent comments from Andy Robertson.
The Scotland international has been the Reds’ first choice left-back throughout almost the entirety of his time with the club after joining from Hull City in 2017.
This season though, Robertson has endured a drop in form in a Liverpool shirt, despite the fact that the club look well on their way to claiming the Premier League title.
As a result, questions are being asked about the 31-year-old’s future at Anfield, although he himself has now come out with a clear stance on his future.

Andy Robertson speaks out on his future at Anfield
As things stand, Robertson will be entering the final year of his contract with the Reds at the end of this season.
That could mean the summer transfer window is the last chance the club will have to cash in on him before he could leave for free in the summer of 2026.
Meanwhile, Liverpool are also being heavily linked with Bournemouth left-back Milos Kerkez, who could fill Robertson’s role in the side.
Indeed, reports from the The i have claimed Kerkez is closing on a £40million move to Anfield, which would significantly add to the competition for a spot on the left of defence in Arse Slot’s side.

But despite that, the Scotland international seemingly does not want to walk away from the club just yet, after being asked about whether he could leave.
In response to those questions, Robertson admitted he is aware of other left-backs being linked with his role, but he does not believe his time is up yet, and that he will continue to back himself.
That has now led to a number of Liverpool fans making clear their stance over the left-back position ahead of the summer transfer window.

Liverpool fans want Kostas Tsimikas sold this summer
Like Robertson, fellow left-back Kostas Tsimikas has also endured a difficult season with Liverpool at times, even when paying back-up to the 31-year-old.
Tsimikas currently has two years remaining on his contract with Anfield, securing his future at the club until the end of the 2026/27 season.
Throughout his time with the club he has been second-choice to Robertson on that particular side of the defence.
As a result, when taking to X to react to those comments from Robertson, a number of Liverpool fans suggested that Tsimikas is the left-back that should be sold this summer.
That would apparently then see the Scot drop back to take over from the Greek international as back-up, with a new first choice left-back such as Kerkez being signed.
