Arsenal star Declan Rice responds to Chelsea ace Noni Madueke’s England post
Noni Madueke’s England performance has caught the eye of Declan Rice after the Three Lions beat Andorra 1-0 on Saturday.
England’s victory over the minnows in Barcelona ensured that Thomas Tuchel kept his 100% winning record intact.
However, the Three Lions were far from convincing as the limped to a one-goal victory against vastly inferior opposition on 7 June.
But Madueke was the main threat for England, and deservedly made a goal contribution when he assisted Harry Kane’s winner.

Arguably, unlike several teammates, Madueke did enough against Andorra to retain his place in Tuchel’s starting lineup for England’s encounter with Senegal on Tuesday, 10 June.
The Chelsea winger posted a series of photos of himself in action against Koldo Alvarez’s side on Instagram [8 June].
Rice commented: “Warm”, while Aston Villa ace Morgan Rogers left a chef emoji in the comments section.
Chelsea could sell Madueke
While Madueke was England’s most dangerous player in an otherwise dull showing against Andorra on Saturday, his Chelsea career could be coming to an end.
Noni Madueke stats | All competitions 2024/25 |
Appearances | 41 |
Goals | 11 |
Assists | 4 |
The 23-year-old notched 11 goals and four assists across all competitions in 2024/25, helping the Stamford Bridge club win the Conference League as well as sealing Champions League qualification via a fourth-place finish in the Premier League.
But Football Insider have exclusively revealed that Chelsea plan to sell Madueke if they sign fellow wideman Jamie Gittens from Bundesliga giants Borussia Dortmund.
Gittens scored 12 goals in 48 appearances for the German outfit this term, but largely fell out of favour after Niko Kovac was appointed manager in February, predominantly appearing as a substitute in the latter stages of the campaign.
The England Under-21 international rose through the youth academy ranks at Manchester City, and could join Cole Palmer and Liam Delap at Chelsea, having previously enjoyed a stint at the Etihad Stadium.
