Arsenal ‘dressing room’ verdict issued by expert after Gabriel Jesus footage emerges

Kevin Campbell has claimed Arsenal can benefit from Gabriel Jesus and Oleksandr Zinchenko’s “know-how” this season.

Speaking exclusively to Football Insider, the former Gunners and Everton striker said the ex-Man City players’ will bring a winning mentality into the dressing room.

Jesus and Zinchenko have taken part in Arsenal’s pre-season tour following their arrival from the Premier League champions this summer.

As shown by club media (23 July), the pair have already linked up well in training.

Both players have won four Premier League titles, four League Cups and one FA Cup.

When asked by Football Insider if the duo’s pre-existing relationship can benefit the Gunners, Campbell said: “I think Zinchenko and Jesus will settle quickly.

“They are both winners. To bring that winning mentality into the dressing room is really important for Mikel Arteta.

“Their relationship on and off the field will help. They know what they have been through together at Man City. They have had to earn everything.

“Now they come into a team that is going to rely on them and their know-how. The Arsenal players have not been there. They have not been to the depths like these two.

“Arsenal have failed against teams that sit back but these guys have the know-how and the mentality to break teams down.

“They will ultimately help Arteta get this team to where he wants.”
