Arsenal fans rage at ‘moron’ Mikel Arteta as Bukayo Saka ‘injury’ footage drops
Arsenal fans have been left raging at Mikel Arteta amid fears that Bukayo Saka suffered an injury following a “horrible” challenge against Ipswich.
Arteta’s side cruised to a 4-0 victory at Portman Road thanks to goals from both Gabriel Martinelli and Ethan Nwaneri, and a brace from Leandro Trossard.
However, the game’s main talking point came as Leif Davis was sent off in the first half for a foul on Saka in which he raked his studs down the winger’s achilles tendon.
Saka remained on the pitch for the rest of the half and following the half-time break, easing concerns before he was withdrawn in the 57th minute.
Images from Portman Road showed the England international had his ankle on ice following his substitution, while he was also spotted limping after full-time.
This has heightened the concern amongst the travelling Arsenal fans, who are now asking questions of Arteta about why he chose to risk Saka rather than rest him.

Arsenal fans’ fingers crossed after Bukayo Saka blow
Saka has missed a large chunk of the season after picking up a hamstring injury against Crystal Palace in December, as Arsenal feared he may miss the season’s end.
With their star winger missing, Arsenal saw their hopes of winning the Premier League title take a huge blow, but remained competitive in the Champions League.
He returned to first-team action against Fulham earlier this month and has once again proven to be one of the most important players in Arteta’s side.
However, following the blow against Ipswich, fans are insisting his minutes must be managed in the build-up to a crucial Champions League semi-final.
A clash against PSG at the Emirates beckons in just over one week’s time, and supporters have begun praying his withdrawal was just a precaution.
Bukayo Saka to be rested ahead of Crystal Palace clash
Before their huge clash with PSG, Arsenal will first face Crystal Palace at the Emirates, where the Eagles will likely also have their eyes set on their upcoming semi-final.
Saka’s importance to Arteta’s team and their Champions League run cannot be understated, and fans are now claiming he could be rested against Palace.
Taking to social media as the images continued to circulate, supporters expressed their frustration at Arteta, labelling him a “moron” for risking the winger’s fitness.
