Arsenal and Man United stars react to Frimpong’s ‘busy’ message after Liverpool news
Arsenal and Manchester United stars have reacted to Liverpool transfer target Jeremie Frimpong’s latest Instagram post after an update regarding his future.
Frimpong has enjoyed yet another successful individual season in Bayer Leverkusen colours, having notched five goals and nine assists across all competitions this term.
The attack-minded right-back could be seen as a natural replacement for Real Madrid-bound Trent Alexander-Arnold.
Meanwhile, Liverpool are also closing in on signing Leverkusen attacking midfielder Florian Wirtz, who has had a stellar Bundesliga season.

Frimpong demonstrated his attacking class when he scored in Leverkusen’s 4-2 defeat to Borussia Dortmund on 11 May.
Meanwhile, Football Insider exclusively revealed that the 24-year-old has already verbally agreed terms with Liverpool.

The Leverkusen man posted: “Busy in Boston” on Instagram on Saturday 24 May, which attracted a like from both Bukayo Saka and Joshua Zirkzee.
Frimpong’s location could also be indicative of his upcoming move to Liverpool, as Reds owners FSG are based in Boston.
Newcastle star Anthony Gordon could still join Liverpool
The fact that the Premier League champions are closing in on Leverkusen duo Wirtz and Frimpong is indicative of Arne Slot’s appetite to enjoy even more success next term.
The Dutchman has done a remarkable job guiding Liverpool to their first top-flight title since 2020 in his first year in charge of the Reds.
But the Merseyside giants were left disappointed by their Champions League exit in March as well as their Carabao Cup defeat to Newcastle.
Slot will hope that bolstering his ranks this summer can help deliver even more silverware next season, and both Wirtz and Frimpong could prove to be strong additions.
Meanwhile, former Everton CEO Keith Wyness exclusively told Football Insider that he can see Anthony Gordon joining Liverpool this summer.
The England international has established himself as a star player for Newcastle, having previously plied his trade in Merseyside for the Reds’ local rivals Everton.
Meanwhile, former Leicester City and Brentford boss Martin Allen exclusively told Liverpool News that the Reds are unlikely to sell Andy Robertson to Aston Villa.
