Arsenal star Declan Rice reacts to Harry Kane’s Bayern Munich message

Arsenal midfielder Declan Rice reacted to Harry Kane after the striker took to social media to cover some recent developments at Bayern Munich.

For all his individual success in front of goal, the striker has previously endured unrelenting frustration in his search of silverware, something that finally changed this season.

In his second season with the club, Kane was integral in helping Bayern Munich to reclaim the Bundesliga title, with Vincent Kompany’s side finishing the campaign 13 points clear at the top of the standings.

That ensured the England captain finally got his hands on a major trophy, and he has understandably been keen to bask in that long-awaited success.

Over the course of the campaign, the 31-year-old scored 26 goals in 31 appearances in the Bundesliga alone.

That ensured that as well as lifting the trophy with his team, Kane also won the league’s Golden Boot and Player of the Season award.

Taking to Instagram on Saturday (31 May), the Bayern Munich striker posted a series of pictures from recent weeks, including of those celebrations around that success.

The former Tottenham striker then added a short but jubilant caption that simply read: “A month to remember”.

In response to that, Arsenal star Rice was among those to show his support for his fellow England international by liking that post.

Arsenal have another source of motivation

Football Insider Verdict

While Kane may have ended his own long wait for a trophy here, Rice and his Gunners team were less fortunate this season.

Mikel Arteta‘s side were beaten to the Premier League title by Liverpool, while they were also unsuccessful in the cup competitions.

However, with a big summer seemingly to come in the transfer market, Arsenal will believe they can finally change that in the 2025/26 campaign.

Having seen a number of players such as Kane, as well as several others clubs end long trophy droughts this season, the Gunners will obviously not want their one to continue.

Meanwhile, although a move to the Emirates appears unlikely due to his Tottenham connections, Kane has been tipped to return to the Premier League in the summer, with an Arsenal move tipped as an alternative to Newcastle’s Alexander Isak.

As a result, after a big month for the England international there may soon be yet more significant moments to come in his career in the near future.
